These terms cover use of clearmatic.ai. The content on this site describes what Clearmatic can build and how an engagement works. The workflow examples are illustrative: they explain what a proposed system can do and are not client results, guaranteed improvements, or a promise that any particular software can be connected.

Engagements

An engagement begins only with a written proposal that both sides have accepted. The proposal sets out the first project, the tools involved, the measures, each side’s responsibilities, the costs, and the ongoing work included. Where these terms and a proposal differ, the proposal applies.

What we provide

We design, build, and test the system described in the proposal, work through it with your team, and carry out the maintenance, support, and improvements the proposal includes. Changes to scope are agreed in writing before they are made.

What you provide

• Someone who understands the process and can make decisions about it
• Access to the information and tools the system needs, at the level agreed
• People who can review the proposed workflow and the rules for human review
• Timely feedback during testing and after launch

Human review and control

Each system is built with agreed limits on the information it can use, the actions it can take, and when a person must review or take over. Decisions reserved for your team in the proposal, such as pricing or commitments to customers, stay with your team.

Third-party software

Systems may rely on software and services you already use or that the proposal names. Their availability, terms, and costs are theirs, and the proposal explains any that you will need to hold directly.

Liability

We will carry out the work with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability under an engagement is limited to the fees paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
